About

La Tonya Herbert

Meet the President
LaTonya Herbert started her real estate journey as a landlord at age 22. She also began working in Elementary Education that same year. As she excelled in the area of education, she made the decision to leave real estate. All was well until 2012 when she made the decision to sell her property. Unfortunately, documents were inaccurately filed which made it impossible to sell. With the economy in limbo and companies going belly up, it left Ms. Herbert in an unusual situation. Ms. Herbert felt firsthand what it was like to go through a foreclosure. It would take many years for her to get back on track but the damage from the process was already done.
In 2020, when Covid-19’s harsh effect took control over the world, Ms. Herbert was reminded of the pain she endured with her personal real estate. She then decided to develop a program to help families avoid foreclosure. At that time she had no clue that foreclosures weren’t the only real estate challenges families faced. She used Covid-19’s disadvantage as a means to educate herself on ways she could serve families. This is something she enjoyed doing while serving as an educator. And now she could have a more significant impact on families.
Ms. Herbert launched her business, Resilience Helping Families Bounce Back, to provide a safe alternative option for you and your family to avoid real estate debt in unforeseen circumstances.
